Within these walls where you now stand, centuries ago stood a tavern belonging to and named after Camden's most infamous witch… Mother Red Cap. Drifters, runaways and lost souls sought her out here. Not all of them returned. One gruesome tale tells of a lover's body found in the oven.
Her mastery of alchemy and herbal craft was said to be so formidable that even the Devil himself was drawn to her deathbed in 1676. Witnesses swore he entered her chamber — yet no one ever saw him leave.
400 years later, the tavern is still standing. The doors are still open. The fire still burns. And the oven still works…
